This is Ola Helland, a 24 year old man, who works as a web-designer at Stavanger Aftenblad.
He has a very special project going on. Before January 1. 2011 he hopes to collect one million drawings of giraffes. A couple of weeks back he was interviewed by the BBC and now there is quite an international collection of giraffes. Read more about this story by visiting
The image I have "borrowed" from the newspaper, and the photographers name is Friestad.

  2. Well, I have nothing against giraffes...but my overwhelming impression of this attempt to collect 1 millions pictures of the animals, is...[big yawn]...what were we talking about, again?

  3. I suspect he will make it too. I strive to get 10,000 visitors or followers on my Pick a Peck of Pixels blog but am stuck at just over 200 followers. I may not make it until the BBC gives me a shot in the butt. LOL
